Extension of the PEMA project until 2023
Extension of the PEMA project until 2023
The second phase of the project, which will start in 2021, will continue efforts and encourage cooperation between companies, public and private export promotion institutions and through public-private dialogue on African trade agreements.
By encouraging the involvement of the private sector in the negotiations and the implementation of trade agreements, the project aims to support these actors to become stakeholders in the process. Indeed, the Tunisian private sector plays an important role in translating the institutional framework of the agreements into concrete actions on the ground. The negotiations should support the business environment and the development of Tunisia's productive and commercial capacities.
In addition, special attention will be paid to the opportunities offered by digitization, in particular through cooperation with digital start-ups and the development of digital platforms.
